MIKE RUSENKO, CPA
Mike is the owner at Rusenko CPA, PC and has been with the firm since 2008. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Financial Management from Clemson University. A Certified Public Accountant since 2010, Mike works primarily with our individual and small business clients assisting them with tax preparation, financial reporting and business consulting services. He has extensive experience serving clients in the restaurant, health care and real estate industries. He also assists in financial audits and managing our staff accountants. When not in the office, Mike enjoys networking with other business professionals, traveling with his wife Bethany, playing golf and attending Clemson football games in the fall.
J. WILLIAM LLOP, CPA
William is a native of Atlanta having attended Our Lady of Assumption Parochial School and completed his high school education at Riverwood High School in Sandy Springs. William continued his education attending Atlanta Law School and John Marshall School of Law sitting for the Bar Exam in 1991. William started preparing financial statements and tax returns in 1984. He genuinely cares about the success of his clients and works closely with them to reach their financial goals. William is a self starter and he surrounds himself with a staff that follows the same philosophy. When William is not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife and children. William is an active volunteer having been a board member of the Rotary Club of Sandy Springs. He also coaches his children in Soccer and Softball.
BRIANNE HARRISON, CPA
Brianne has been working for Rusenko CPA, PC. since June 2013. She became a Certified Public Accountant in January 2015. She earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting from Louisiana State University and a Master’s of Science in Accounting from University of New Orleans. Brianne assists our individual and small business clients with tax preparation and financial reporting. When not at work, she enjoys kickboxing, wedding planning, and watching football with her fiancé, Rob.
BECKYE S. YOUNG, CPA
Beckye worked with Rusenko CPA, PC from 2006-2013 and rejoined the firm March 2017, after spending time as a controller of a small manufacturing facility that sold in the fall of 2016. She took the opportunity to return to her public accounting roots. Beckye started as an auditor with KPMG after college and has worked in many industries including manufacturing, non-profit, distribution, and various small businesses. Beckye is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and became a Certified Public Accountant in 1987. Beckye primarily assists our small business clients and individuals with financial reporting and tax preparation. When not at work enjoys time with her husband and their four children.
CHERYL MAYFIELD – STAFF ACCOUNTANT
Cheryl started working for the firm in 1991 while attending Mercer University’s Macon campus. Her initial role in marketing quickly transitioned into full time staff accountant as she became responsible for the preparation of financial statements, payroll & sales tax reporting. Cheryl enjoys assisting new business owners in understanding the accounting & bookkeeping process along with various legal requirements for establishing a new business. When not working, Cheryl enjoys gardening, hiking along river trails and spending time with her adorable grandchildren Kaelyn & Daviel.
BROOKE LANE – STAFF ACCOUNTANT
Brooke is the newest team member at Rusenko CPA, PC , and she currently serves as the office assistant. She is finishing up her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting at Kennesaw State University and is scheduled to graduate in May 2016. As the office assistant, Brooke assists with the day-to-day procedures of the firm. She communicates with numerous clients on a daily basis, and is responsible for the inflow and outflow of work. In her free time, Brooke enjoys finding new sushi restaurants, staying active, and watching/attending football games.
THOMAS BUSH- STAFF ACCOUNTANT
Thomas has been with Rusenko CPA, PC since June 2013. Thomas is a graduate of the University of Alabama’s Culverhouse School of Accountancy, where he earned his Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Professional Accounting. He works primarily with our small to midsize business clients assisting them with tax preparation, financial audits, reviews, and is our resident not-for-profit accounting specialist. An avid outdoorsman, Thomas enjoys being outdoors when not at work, and never misses an Alabama football game.
TIMOTHY DOYE – STAFF ACCOUNTANT
Timothy is the newest staff accountant at Rusenko CPA, PC. Originally from Maryland, Timothy moved to Georgia to begin his accounting career shortly after receiving his Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Accounting from Towson University in May 2014. He works primarily with our small to midsize business clients assisting them with swift data entry, tax preparation, and financial statement preparations. In his free time, Timothy enjoys exploring new tourist attractions and restaurants throughout Atlanta.
JAN ROBERTS – STAFF BOOKKEEPER
Jan’s employment with Rusenko CPA, PC began in January of 2008. After graduating from Stephens College and the University of Georgia, Jan started her career working in the family businesses. She “retired” for several years to be a stay at home mom and play a lot of golf, then began a second career working in restaurant accounting. As a staff bookkeeper with the Rusenko firm, Jan is responsible for client payrolls, sales reports, bill payments and monthly financial statements. Her favorite thing to do is visit her son and his family in Brooklyn and spoil her grandchildren.
LEIGH MOTZ- STAFF BOOKKEEPER
Leigh has been working at Rusenko CPA, PC since January of 2012. Leigh is currently a bookkeeper for the firm, and is responsible for processing payrolls, submitting sales tax returns, and the day-to-day entry of client information. Leigh has been married for 35 years and has one son. She enjoys walking their dog at Lake Lanier, and attending Braves games.
TONYA HALL – OFFICE MANAGER
Tonya Hall began working at Rusenko CPA, PC in December 2016 and currently serves as the office manager. Tonya graduated from Emory University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a major in Finance in 1998. Tonya founded TLH Accounting and Consulting in 2005 and created a partnership in 2006. As office manager, Tonya assists with the day-to-day procedures of the firm. She communicates with many clients on a daily basis, and is responsible for the flow of work. When not at work, Tonya serves on the board for KIPP SFA, Ron Clark Academy, Show Me The Way Foundation and JCritt Crossover for Change.
